Ten Aman Malaysia Doctors For Gaza

Let's hope the 10 Aman Malaysia doctors, including a radiology specialist who have volunteered to serve in Gaza, can really gain access into the war-torn area.

The team will be
providing medical support and will also compile a report on Israel's atrocities on civilians.

Bernama, quoting Aman Malaysia coordinator Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir, said the report will be submitted to the United Nations.

Meanwhile, Cuba supports Malaysia's motion condemning Israel's atrocities on Palestinians, which was tabled at a special parliamentary session on Monday.

Cuban ambassador to Malaysia Carlos Amores said Malaysia had shown it abhorred Israel's invasion of Gaza.

"The action by Israel is a crime. The resolutions adopted by Malaysian MPs condemning Israel shows Ma-laysians are against the Israeli invasion," he said after being interviewed on the Voices From the South programme on the Traxx FM radio station here yesterday.

He said as the chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement, Cuba had issued strong statements against Israel's invasion of Gaza.

"Israel acts with impunity because it is supported by the United States, which will use its veto power to prevent the United Nations from acting against Israel," he was quoted in the New Straits Times.
