Another Night in Jail For RPK Although Bail Has Been Posted

-- because he has to sign documents for his release at the court's bail counter tomorrow.
Sessions Court judge Nurmala Salim today issued an order to produce RPK for his release.

So it looks like RPK will be spending another night at the Sungai Buloh Prison although his wife, Marina, has posted the RM5,000 bail.

She posted bail at about 2.15pm today after meeting him for about 10 minutes earlier at 11am in Sungai Buloh.

RPK claimed trial to a sedition charge in the Petaling Jaya Sessions Court on Tuesday.

According Bernama, Marina said RPK had probably changed his mind about posting bail after reading the note she left for him yesterday with the prison officials after he refused to meet her.

Marina said she had stated in the note that his readers were fully behind him and his family missed him dearly.

The note also said: "I want you home".

Marina said RPK looked fine today despite refusing to eat since his remand. She confirmed that he had something to drink this morning.

Even when out soon on 'public' bail
There's still much wrong to assail
We pray all evil schemes will fail

You are great RPK, stay put and we are all behind you.

`They' never learn even after the GE12, force `them' to learn!! You can do it.

Or is it a`sideline' political future episode. RPK is the `vehicle'. Not you, for God sake!!

Cik Nuraina,

Today is my birthday and there is no better 3 b'day wishes I must make i.e.:
1. May the Most Powerful Almighty Law of the Universe FREE RPK ASAP!

2. May God protect helpless souls and fellow ASEAN people of Myanmar in their trying times Post-Nargis cyclone that has hit the Irrawaddy.

3. May all my family, friends, relatives and all Muslims globally be guided to the Righteous Path...

I am quite disappointed in Karpal Singh in his too personal attacks on His Royal Highness the Sultan of Perak who is one of the most-learned Malaysian royalty and a former Yang Di-Pertuan Agung, no less. The lawyer-politician has gone way out of line in Parliament!
