Five year-old Sharlinie Mohd Nashar is still out there somewhere with her captors. Strangers to the little girl. Evil people. But let's pray they are not and that they will find it in their heart to release her safely to her family in Petaling Jaya.
Because Nini is asthmatic.
According to her 28 year-old mother, Suraya Ahmad, Nini needs medication three times a day.
Meanwhile, efforts are underway to find her using posters to be put up in various places in Petaling Jaya.
Some 5,000 poster will be put up.
And, accoding to Bernama, Deputy Tourism Minister Donald Lim Siang Chai who launched the poster campaign yesterday (Thursday), has offered RM5,000 in reward to individuals who could provide information that would lead to her being found safe.
"I hope that with this reward, members of the public will come forward with information so that Nini will be reunited with her family," he told the Press.
Nini who was abducted at a playground near her home in Taman Medan in PJS at about 11am on Wednesday.
Here's Bernama's report about her ashtma.
Suraya said:"Nini has asthma since she was small and we have been taking her to the clinic for treatment... but there are times when her condition become worse and we have to take her to the University of Malaya Medical Centre."
She was met at a joint news conference by Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan and Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil on the matter yesterday (Thursday).
Sharlinie's Father Mohd Nashar Mat Hussain, 29, said he received numerous text messages about his daughter.
"The latest message, about 10am, said that my daughter was at a bus stop in Butterworth, Pulau Pinang," he said.
I pray that Nini is still alive, and safe.
Remember, folks, that 8 year-old Arwah Nurin Jazlin Jazimin whom the nation had failed, was killed by person/persons still at large.
Do take care of your kids. I know it is so terrible that we have to constantly be doing that when in fact, it should be alright that they can be let loose near our own home, in our own neighbourhood.
I know that nowhere is really crime-free, even in the safest of neighbourhoods, but to have that tangible sense that everywhere (including your own home -- remember Preshena) is a dangerous place, is so disheartening, worrying. So awful to be so paranoid.
What a way to live our lives!
Semoga adik Ninie ditemui segera.
there's a missing link here - all these kids (that were abducted) have some common grounds. that they were stricken with illnesses. could it be the bastard works in a health clinic or hospital?
in addition; this bastard has carefully chosen his victims' profile. sickly kids are defenseless so it would be easy for him to strike them. just a thought there.
hmmm....what a sad day for our nation, unfortunately our police currently busy to charge their parent for missing child not the bastard animal who kidnap the liltle angels....
