Well, I'll Say!

Betul, ke ni?

States which have come under the Pakatan Rakyat government after the March 8 general election have shown an aggressive attitude by transferring officers and evicting government agencies from buildings administered by them, the Senate sitting was told today.

Rural and Regional Development Minister Senator Tan Sri Muhammad Muhammad Taib said this occurred in Selangor where the Radio Selangor FM, which operates under the Broadcasting Department, was evicted from the Selangor State Secretariat building.

"Similarly, they transferred mosque officials and village heads. The federal government provides allocation for the mosque officials and religious teachers. So, we say this is unfair.

"Barisan Nasional elected representatives are also not allowed to officiate at functions organised by the Selangor Islamic Religious Department," he said when winding up the debate on the address by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on his ministry.

As such, he said, the setting up of the Federal Village Development and Security Committee (JKKP) in the four states (Penang, Kedah, Perak and Selangor) was appropriate to ensure effectiveness in the implementation of federal government development projects at the village level.-- BERNAMA

We will now have 3 types of Govts -Federal, State and UMNO led parallel or extra-statutory Fed/State Govt Agencies.

In the end, it is not escalating oil, food, commodities or metal prices that will kill us; It will the most bloated government in the history of the world.

I recently heard someone remark that at Petronas, we have 4 persons to do the work of 1, somewahat marginally better than the corresponding figures for the Civil Service, MAS, KTM etc

How true? Anybody's guess, since transparency is not exactly recognised as the most important priority at Cabinet level.

Frankly, these officers should have been sacked for incompetence, non-tranapsrency, cronyism and stupidity. Mohd Taib (cash and carry) should shut up. Period.

I wonder what is the purpose or objective of this brilliant Senator to raise this issue other than self serving?

He should have focused on a more current & contemporary issues such as the plight of the rakyat having to face the difficulties ahead due to high inflation of prices of commodities.

But then I suppose this Senator knows best when it comes to what is important for the rakyat. That is the rakyat must return his party to power then only all things will turn out right. Will it?

Well, well is this at all a surprise.
On the issue of mosques and mosque officials,Pas had always been wanting to 'takeover' the running of mosques and suraus and to hold daily ceramahs and the weekly Jumaat khutbah (Friday sermon). And all these will be paid by the 'Qariah' or residents of the locality through the tithes and public contributions towards the mosque/surau during Friday prayers or other times. And mind you this can be a tidy sum judging from the generosity of Muslims for their religous conscience.
This is where they get to address the people and indoctrinate them at the people's own cost. What a virtuos convenience.
For the likes of RPK and Haris Ibrahim, they should attend more of these ceramahs to understand if Pas had really abandoned their Islamic State and Hudud policies.
As for Karpal and Lim Kit Siang, they can be excused of their ignorance.
Was'nt it being enough said that they are really strange bedfellows?
Wallahualam!!

kak ena,
tentang selangor fm tu amat tipu sekali. TSKI ada bagi surat 2 kali apply untuk 1 jam slot bersama MB di radio selangor tapi kementerian penerangan tak bagi jawapan. since radio was located in the SUK building, TSKI said if they were not answering his request within 2 weeks, he'd order them to make way out of the building. later after one week, menteri penerangan asked them to move to angkasapuri.

so they did it! hal ni dah masuk pun dalam the star & also the radio itself. TSKI didn't instruct them, of course no black and white, to vacate the building. But menteri penerangan did it.

this tan sri was not listening to the radio and also didn't read the newspaper! some more want to twist the fact huh?

kalau di tempat kami, ADUN PR yang tak dapat officiate event. malah tak dapat undangan pun. so how's that?

Is this what this country is all about, ministers can stand up in the sacred chambers and lie through their teeth, is this what umno has come to, just lies on top of lies, everyone in the country knows umno lies, but why do the still keep voting them in, are the malays that insecure that they have to vote in the corrupt, people like muhamad taib, sacked former menteri besar caught with his pants down in Australia, like a common criminal, and still got away with it, he is back. if this is the best the malays can do than you deserve people like this, this is not being a racist or anything of thae sort but lets call a spade a spade, are the malays naive or stupid. the Malay friends I grew up with and who still come to my home are not stupid neither are they naive, it is the politics of survival they say either we join them or we are sidelined. This culture has to stop. how are we capable to compete against others when our future generations are being brainwashed and being kept stupid, "the dumber they are the easier to control" are these the policies of UMNO, be honest and ask yourself, it is very sad that we have come to this, people who are morally bankrupt running this country, where are the laws, why is it the corrupt are championed, is this the new evolution of the malays, to be corrupt, I don't think so.

I read before that Radio Selangor FM refused to carry any air time for the Selangor state government (because it is now run by PR)

So they got booted out of the Selangor State Govt building. Makes sense to me.

Mat Tyson ni, sepuluh dia cakap, sebelas tak boleh caya.

As to Selangor FM, if they were booted out, it is cos they refused to give a slot to the current state govt (cos they say they answer to Kementrian Penerangan).

Dah Selangor FM, nama pun Selangor, why should it be partisan.

But then as we all well know, BN thought it had a God-given right to govern Malaysia and no one else. Hence the knee-jerk response.

If some of Mat Tyson's allegations are true, then the question that begs to be asked is, where did the PR folks learn how to do this?

Tit for tat la.

And didn't we read in the papers recently that PR reps were not allowed to officiate at any school functions?

This kaki belit Mat Tyson is as usual, talking a lot of self-serving cock.
