Lee Chong Wei beat Kenichi Tago (Japan) -- 21-19, 21-19, -- to clinch the All-England title.
He became the third Malaysian in 44 years to win the All England men’s singles title.
In 1966 Tan Aik Huang defeated a Japanese player H. Akiyama to capture the title and 7 years ago, Hafiz Hashim won the coveted title.
And to top it all -- Chong Wei is the 100th champion of the world's oldest badminton tournament. never mind if it was his 7th attempt. He never gave up. We're so damn proud of him!

Congratulations to Lee Chong Wei
for a much deserved win in this year's Edition of the All England Single's title. We should not forget Wong Peng Soon and Eddy Choong who won before Tan Aik Huang and Mohd. Hafiz Hashim won theirs!
Why does Malaysia need a PENDATANG to go all out to win for the country? Where are the TUANS who claim to be more superior? Wouldn't they have done better?
ktteokt,
what's wrong with you? you are as bad as those people you hate.
For you haters out there. Chong Wei's mentor is Misbun Sidek. That says a lot doesn't it? They may be different race but respect each other.
Taniah Pendatang!!
old fart,
you too?
ok-lah. i know where tht's coming from.
