As for/to most Malaysians, the real test of the 1Malaysia PM's success will be when "the various races of people here, show just as much enthusiasm care and concern for each other race", as displayed recently for the Palestinians, half across the world.
Despite all the folly in decisions, we should take everything with a huge pinch of garam; consider:
i)Suddenly Nazri says new parliament to be built RM800 million. dah tu nak preserve the present building, at what annual cost, jadi muzium? bazir ker tak bazir
ii)same as the Istana Negara project. I m sure Royalty sayang rakyat, so who thought of the project and gave the go-ahead in the first place. Kalau nak buat pon why not site at Putraja and leave the Kiara land green or turn into public park - same as old Pudu Jail which will now be property developed at a time when office space banyank, KLCC twin tower tu semua penoh ker?) The old istana (which used to be some rich man's mansion) will be turned to yet another museum, at what cost?
i can't tell whether you agree with the findings, or not. or what you think of it. you sound cynical. so not sure what you think. i have been following your blog since day one, so i kinda know the sort of person, or blogger/writer, you are. i'm thinking that you, like everyone else, are taking all this with a pinch of salt.
let's hope whatever the findings -- it is the rakyat and the country that benefit!
what's there to agree or disagree? if that's the findings of the merdeka centre, well, then we'll accept it as its findings. if we think otherwise, we'll just have to do our own survey, won't we.
some people are, obviously not pleased. some people are.
it does not matter to me one way or another. it's a survey. not the first, nor the last.
