Marriage Really Does Settle Men Down

...it seems.

According to a new (yet another) study, that is. But, of course. A new study.

That's why marriage is called "settling down". Ho hum!

So, this study finds that men with a wedding ring are likely to engage in fewer aggressive or illegal behaviors than single men, both "because nicer men are more likely to get married and because marriage settles men down."

Oh well... you read it all HERE.

You don't have to believe everything you read, though. I'm sure another new study will follow this one and the findings would probably be different.

Well, to quote an ex-minister who recently remarried at age 74 to a 27 year old "It's good to have a woman".

I guess it's good la. What's the use of having big house(s), big car(s) and lots of money without someone to come home to?

And personally, I think that marriage makes a man responsible. Without a woman by his side, a man remains a boy or worse, he finds solace in unwanted activities like a wolf in a wolf pack.

Hmmmmm...that's what the research revealed?

Not nice men don't get married? What about handsome-not-nice men who still get married?
What about rich-not-nice men who still get married?
What about woman who like their men 'mean'? Yup, have you ever heard of women saying 'He's nice...but...'

As for 'settling down' the man, I wonder what the statistics are on married men who commit various crime, adultry, abuse and who initiate divorce.

Finally, KLians? Nice? You're kidding right?
