Al Fatihah Abdullah Majid

Innalillah Wainnalillah Rajiuun.

We called him Pak Cik Dolah. A close friend of Bapak's. And he was detained under the Internal Security Act together with Bapak and also (Tan Sri) Abdullah Ahmad in 1976.
(Also detained was the late Mohd Samani Amin, an editor with Berita Harian.)

They called the ISA trio -- the Three Abduls.

I'm not quite sure what his post was at that time but I believe he was a Deputy Minister.

Pak Cik Dolah had not been well for quite some time.

On my way now to "masjid bulat" in Section 14.

Pak Cik Dolah's remains will be taken to Raub after the "jenazah" prayers at the mosque.

Farewell, Pak Cik Dolah.

Al Fatihah.

Takziah to Pak Cik Dollah's family on his demise.

Abang Ani is on his way to 'Masjid Bulat'. Am not able to make it.

Semoga rohnya di tempat bersama para solihin.

Al Fatiha.

Salam Nuraina,
Innalillahiwainnailahirajiun! Your late father, arwah & Dato' Dolah Kok Lanas were the "mangsa" of the political regime & schema of the time... we Malays pasal bab tikam menikam sesama sendiri for our own ends ni memang hebat! Hope Hishamuddin doesn't inherit the bad blood?

Innalillahi wainnaillahi rajiuun. May Allah SWT place the soul of arwah Dollah Majid among the dwellers of Jan'nah. When he was hauled in with your father and Dollah Kok Lanas, he was the Deputy Labour Minister [I think! And DKL was the Deputy Science Tech and Environ Minister. I hope memory doesn't play any trick on me]. cheers.

Yep, he was a Deputy Labor Minister.
A nicer man there never was.
After the accident, he was immobile.
Al-Fatehah Uncle Dollah.
Ps. I saw you at the mosque. I was at the other end, so cant say hello.
My whole family was there.

Dear Nuraina,
You called him Pak Chik Dollah; I called him Tam Dollah! Knowing a little about him...he used to ask me to drive him around in Kuantan when he was Press Sec to Tun Razak. That was in the 70's.There was no handphone then only the fixed line available. He told me that Tun will call his secretary at any time even at night. One day we were driving to Bukit Goh stop for a drink at the Rancangan Tanah Pemuda and meet up with the kampong folks as well as participants. We also move to other locations and did the same. That evening he called his boss and reported what actually is happening on the ground. Tun Abdul Razak came for his planned visit to Kuantan the following week.Tun was able to touch on every development requirement in that area with no reference to the YBs.....which in reality kept the YBs on their toes.
