Let's Leave Out The Kids...

Great idea, Hishammuddin Hussein, but perhaps we could leave the children out.

Ministry plans huge protest by schoolkids.

Hey, leave the kids out of politics. School should nurture not destroy their faith & hope in humanity.

    SHame on you Hisham!!!

BIG NO, Hishammuddin bin Hussein. You educate the children, teach them history, tell them of the Israeli atrocities, show them the pictures of kids who have died in Gaza because the adults ducked up.

BUT you don't get them to do your walking, talking, marching or pedaling. They are children, bro. We are supposed to stand in front of them and protect them, not hide behind them!

Get all million people on the streets or in a stadium to protest. Leave the kids at home. Make sure someone's looking after them.

funny isnt it coz few weeks back the Govt was lambasting those who encouraged kids participating in JERIT. The cops even "arrested" them and has threatened a MP with a charge. What is this exemplary Minister trying to do?

  4. Salam,

This idea by Hisham is a sure way to instil our kids with negative values.

Can you imagine he want to teach school kids to learn the "hate" towards the Israelis for their aggression in Gaza?

And now he want to show our kids to demonstrate.

So later these kids, on growing up, would have in them the elements of hatred and demonstration.

I can believe these ideas come from the Minister of Education. Is he qualified to be one?

this is how hate starts. Getting kids to be involved without them understanding what the h*ll is going on.

before asking children to *show of support*

1st thing to do is the parents and teachers and the ministers themselves

ur right Kak, leave the kids alone ...

Oo Hisham before you use the school children. I suggest that why not you start with all the BN MPs and their children. If all agreed then only you talk about the innocent school children. OK? Lets see you suggest it in Pariament.

  10. Hi Aunty Nuraina.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't DYMM just say to leave the kids out of demonstrations?

I'm not against the idea, because I honestly think that this is a way of getting schoolkids to be more in touch with reality.

But one must also understand, that protests and such are a voluntary thing. I know the way the Education Ministry handles things, and if there is (although I doubt it) someone that ISN'T against the bombings, I know that they'd rope them in anyway.

Basically, what I'm trying to say is that there are as many pro's to the con's of organizing a protest quite like this.

And if I were in Hishammudin's shoes, I wouldn't contradict the Sultanate. EVER.

Our despaie in the education system now turn into disgust.

The government is not willing to listen to the pleading of the marginalised groups in our own home, instead, they want to instill hatred and tuen our kids into stone-throwing ones like those in Palastine.

Hey, the stones you are trainning our kids to throw will never reach Gaza or Tel Aviv.

In Malays, I think we have a saying about dogs barking at the moutains.

Please address the burning issues in our own country first, or, is our government treating the voice of the marginalised groups in our mists as mere dogs barking at the moutain that is BN?

    Superb Idea.
Please supply T-Shirts, Banners & caps to all the kids.

Teach them how to do a street demo.Carter lots of busses to get them to Bikit Jalil... or better still Sepang Circuit.

Do road shows to all states.

The goverment cannot follow the foot steps of demonstrations that were organized by JERIT,HINDRAF,etc....it's a cowardly act. Using children for their own agenda. These people will do anything to further their cause. Anak bangsa Malaysia my foot!!

    hi Cik Ena,

why mobilise 5 million kids who don't know anything about the issue when a small group of adults [cabinet] can do so much for the cause. endorse Wisma to call for War Crimes Tribunal in the UN. severe diplomatic and economic ties with Jordan and Egypt for facilitating Israeli occupation at the borders. CALL OFF THE FTA WITH ISRAEL'S BIGGEST FUNDER: UNITED STATES!

    Brother,

    kasih sayang ditelan waktu
    Mencuri sudah, meraba sudah
    Takkan nak simpan sipolan begitu.

Nuraina, Here's the double standard: http://www.thezimbabwetimes.com/?p=9469

We protest against the innocent killings in Gaza, but welcome the most brutal murderers of our time to wine and dine with us. Amazing.

    Will we protest their entry?

Pls leave all the school kids from this demo. They are still small and naive. They don't understand and of this. We are just going to instill hatred on their mind.
Hishamuddin, don't be a hipocrite. You send all your children overseas even for the O Levels when they can just do their SPM here. Never trust our education system ? Spare them from PLKN ?
Pls don't say anything that you will not do on your own children!!
