IJN Deal Off..

Bless y'all, Malaysians...

(source:Star Online)
Sime Darby Bhd has dropped its plans to acquire a 51% stake in the National Heart Institute (IJN). In an announcement to Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday, the company said the decision was based on public sentiment and feedback it received after the government deferred its plan to allow Sime Darby to start talks with the Ministry of Finance on the IJN stake.

Salam kak Ina,

Alhamdullilah, the decision to take over IJN didn't materialise ... at least at this point of time. Saya doakan semua yang terlibat dalam perancangan nak ambil alih IJN tu akan kena serangan sakit jantung dan mati segera, we hate to hear the slogan Cemerlang, Gemilang, Terbilang being uttered every now and then because semuanya sudah PECAH TEMBELANG. They can temberang certain people at certain time but not all the people all the time. WE are dead sick with legalised robbers.

Hope this is a final decision-not 'sementara' due to the by election. God safe us the poor Malaysians!

This is daylight robbery....kita Msians bukannya bodoh barang semua dahlah mahal, everyone is talking about recession and our politicians said otherwise....go figure. Tak cukup lagi tu ada hati nak privatise IJN.

Well, well, well ... what a terrible impression management. We will now look at SD and the board of directors in a different light, won't we, irrespective of their past CSR activities. I hate to say this, although I must: Trust once lost can never be regained. Good luck anyway.

Has this decision by Sime Darby to drop takeover of IJN got something to do with KT bye election. The opposition has one less issue to harp on. Is this sinister ploy.

Akhirnya Sime Darby membatalkan hasrat mereka nak beli IJN. AlhamdulilLah syukur. Doa rakyat termakbul. Diharap pembatalan ini berterusan sampai bila-bila... Jangan lepas pilihanraya kecil KT, depa buat pulak...

Ena,
Thank u for the relentless support for the cause.

GUiKP aka a.m.i.r is right about the lost trust. Which is why SD will continue to be on our radar. Which means the Labu lcct will be subject of our relentless scrutiny.

p.s. Sime Darby's initials make me think of Stephen King's SSDD -- Same Shit Different Day ..

i hope that Sime Darby and also the govt stick to their words and not to change their mind after the upcoming by-election.or else the people in IJN and also the public gonna get really furious over SD and govt.

i dont know who really kickstart the idea of selling 51% share to Sime Darby.but all i know is that once an institution becomes privatised, then things gonna changed in that institution.perhaps the fees gonna hike up and this is a burden to the less-fortunate people.
