Just a brief item here:
Shahrizat Abdul Jalil who is on leave from her duties as Women, Family and Community Development Minister has filed a RM100mil defamation suit against PKR strategic director Mohd Rafizi Ramli and Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin over their allegations on the National Feedlot Corporation issue.
The allegations of corruption and abuse against NFC are now being investigated by the police and the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC).
Nuraina,it was widely expected for Shahrizat to make this move. She needs time to plan an exit strategy for her and her family. It was a conflict of interest and her family should not have got the project in the first place(forget about corruption or CBT as it would never have happened in the first place)
ReplyDeleteIn western and democratic countries she would have been an ordinary citizen months ago.Well heeled executives from Wall Street have had their family and financial lives ruined by just normal regular pillow talk, without benefitting a single cent.
By having pillow talk with their stripper mistresses about deals that their company were making. And what did their bozo mistresses do.They pillow talked with their other boyfriends, who eventually make the killing.
And what did the well heeled executive from Wall Street get for pillow talk. For roiling the bedsheets and a few years in the cooler.
Just as recently as last year, the Swiss Franz was going through the roof against her counterparts, the Euro and the US dollar. The SNB have made several failed attempts at FX intervention. So they caught wind of Dr Mahathir's pegging of the ringgit to the US dollar and follow suit(copycat, maybe).
The wife of the Swiss central banker joined in the fray and made around seventy thousand dollars, selling short the Swiss Franz. Was it pillow talk.Maybe.Did the husband know.Public perception,
no.The husband would have kicked her butt if he did.All these came out about two weeks ago,and last week, due to pressure the husband quit.
My two cents worth of advice to Shahrizat is to make the best deals with her enemies in Umno and some prominent PR politicians,in case they come into power, and head into political oblivion.Afterall in civilised countries, deals are allowed to be made in courts too.
Dear.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pity for Kak Izat. She really caught in the political cobweb.Sayonara Ketua Wanita UMNO and Menteri Wanita
It's time Sharizat leaves her post as Wanita Umno leader. This issue has brought shame to Wanita Umno and BN at a time when she should be getting support from rakyat. Her honeymoon's should be over now. She should be grateful that PM appoints her as Senator & Minister despite losing in GE12 to PKR novice. It's payback time. please make your way out gracefully and let the other Wanita Umno leaders take over swiftly.
ReplyDeleteNuraina,it is a pity that Shahrizat was used as collateral damage. She was one of the harder working ministers. This is a warning to the players of other factions to get in line behind Big Bro.
