I suppose Penang chief minister and DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng had to say sorry because the Sultan said that he was offended by (Guan Eng's) remarks disparaging Johor.
This has somewhat put a closure to the issue. Some champion of free press! Surely not with his utter readiness to sue and sue the media (mainstream only). Not because they misquote him but because they are, simply, mainstream. More a champion of putar-belit!
All this brouhaha arose from a Bernama report saying that he made those contentious remarks in an interview with an Australian radio station.
If the Sultan had not said anything, I wonder whether Johor baru-born Guan Eng would even bother to apologize, or admit that he did say all those things.
Respect the Sultan and you 'Ketuanan' rubbish hero shit are unhappy. Do Not respect the Sultan and you are a Bintang Tiga traitor. You pieces of racist shit have to make up your minds. That is if you idiots have any minds to start with.
ReplyDeleteGuan Eng will be DPM cum Minister of Finance after the next general election. Beware Johoreans. You'd not get any allocations from the Federal Govt. But don't be dismayed. Do vote for PR anyway.
ReplyDeleteguan eng , lu punya belit belit casi orang india a bad name la, come on.
ReplyDeleteyou should have said , it look like, it sound like me ,but it is not me.

by the way iam a joherean, And NIAMAH to you and your clan.
ReplyDeleteDear Datuk Nuraina,
ReplyDeleteGuan Eng's apology was not sincere. The way he said it was akin of a little boy who was caught with his hand in the jar. So obvious, yet still trying to wriggle himself out of it. He was actually cornered into the wall when NST journalist Jassmine Sadiqe managed to "pujuk" the Sultan of Johor to express his irritation over the Guan Eng's bad-mouthing of his State. The Sultan had initially declined to comment. If not for the Sultan's irritation made known to the public, I was told by my sources within the Guan Eng's office that he would never have apologized. His initial plan was to let the issue dragged on until it dies a natural death. He was not really sorry for what he said. He apologized because he does not want DAP to lose the Malays' vote and worsen the growing rift within Pakatan, particularly with Pas back paddling to win back Malays support. That's the only real reason he apologized. He does'nt really care two hoots about offending the Sultan or Johoreans.
Salam Dato
ReplyDeleteKalau Almarhum Sultan Iskandar dulu, sudah tentu mamat ni dah kena pelempang, bukan sebab apa yang dia cakap temporary tapi kerana kurang ajar mohon maaf kat Sultan melalui sidang akhbar!!! Tak ada adab langsung!
I dont believe LGE would ever made that remark on JB, only the pro BN media manipulated the issue. The sultan's advisors are all pro BN and if not because of BN's dirty politic the sultan would careless, his concerned is only money.
ReplyDeleteI'm Johorean and have been living in Jb for the past 30 over yrs and I know exactly what JB is all about. I would agree with LGE even if he made that remark.

vinnan: so stupid of me to let your vile comments through.
ReplyDeletei say to you: @##***!
Hamzah: i hope there are more people like you supporting Lim Guan Eng and his party.
What's the point in apologising when it is so INSINCERE? No need to use lie detector also can see the insincerity..
ReplyDeleteAnd what's up with the banning of TV3 reporter from the sidang media? So CHILDISH!
Vinnan: I've been reading your comments everywhere. Don't you know that you can put forward negative comments WITHOUT using foul language?. I guess you must be one of the pariah class, same as Namewee, who has no adab whatsoever. Teh tarik buddy huh?
damn.,...cant even say shit in msia now!!!
