Why is it a journalist like you has no comment on the mysterious death of a non-Malay Opposition activist? I wonder...
anon@9:17PM,
no need to rack yr brain wondering. and no need to get suspicious.
you want me to comment on Teoh's death? what do you expect me to say?
of course, it is a tragedy. of course, it is such a shock. my heart goes out to his family and fiance.
and yes...we all want answers.
The Ministry of Health issued an advisory that stated one of the steps to be taken by the public in our effort to contain H1N1 influenza is to practice social distancing.
And the latest that we heard from WHO is the apalling news that the spread of the virus is unstoppable.
It is about time the Health ministry be more forthcoming with regular updates not only of statistics but, more importantly, its assessment of the general outlook so as to allay unnecessary fears amongst the public.
For a start, it would be helpful if the public could be enlightened on the likely scenario vis-a-vis the impending haj when social distancing of about three million people from around the world (about 40,000 from Malaysia) congregating in a small area is not humanly possible.
Since this entry is about H1N1, thought this bit of news i came acros deserves a wider audience:
