Some expected winners, some unexpected casualties.
But I know one person who should not have won a seat! And at the expense of some good candidates too!

ReplyDeleteAs in any other organisation be it your community association, sports club, prom, social, housing, swimming clubs etc, the votes have been accepted.
ReplyDeleteMembers have to accept their term in office because the system dictates 'majority wins'.
So, let the new comittee prove their salt and there is no need to cry over spilt milk.
Mandate given, so it is time for those responsible to practise their 'SAY, DO and DELIVER caper.
Enough of whining and trying to find faults or trying to analyse the past. Use that valuable time to move ahead and plan for the future, not cry and sulk over the past.
The fight is for the future, not yesterday, which is dead and gone.
Sounds like a political speech, but think about it. There's no benefit in fighting, but there's hope in unison, provided it is done in good faith.
This wishful thinking remains a wish until it is fulfilled.
Ignore the enemies of progress who are obsessed with petty issues and there's light at the end of the tunnel. Otherwise, dig your own grave and don't blame others upon failure.
Let the failures succeed with their ventures to doom, but the new team must wake up and take heed at this last call for reforms.
Best of luck, and don't fail your supporters.
A GOOD MAN DOES NOTHING.
Well some good news at least to make my day...congrats to Muhyiddin Yassin and Hishamudin..pity to Rais Yatim..
ReplyDeleteSo this is it, that will bring Umno to a new level..
Cuma tak paham why those MB from strong umno fort lose..and why those from PR led state win??
Mustapha Mohamed I can understand coz he's good but Awang Adek??Idris Jusoh?? Mahdzir Khalid??
MB from Johor (Tiang seri Umno), Pahang, NS kalah..I'm puzzled...of course this things only happen in polictics..
Ok lets wait for the cabinet line-up..if it happens..

Aina,
ReplyDeleteYour comment "But I know one person who should not have won a seat! And at the expense of some good candidates too! "
Siapa dia?
TSMY is only an "interim solution" he can never become the next PM of Malaysia. As after Najib retires, TSMY will be very old....the real potential....next PM of Malaysia in years to come is...Ahamd Zaidi........so for TSMY....enjoy ur life..and luxury..as DPM...
ReplyDeleteOnly one Kak Aina?

ReplyDeletewell...let me give you a hint -- some of you got it right.
i'm asking myself : what were these delegates thinking?
macam mana umno nak re-brand kalau macam ni?
mohd,
Foul-mouthed and sexist Sabahan MP definitely should not be there.
