Don't leave the cooking to the men during the celebration, as you might have charcoal for dinner!

By the way, don't forget that women are not good at changing a spare tyre too!

Yeah, go celebrate and let the men celebate!

    Cheers!

  5. After begging to go to a restaurant breakfast buffet with her family and several family friends, 6y.o Nora balked at eating any of the food. She complained to her father Thomas "I don't like buffets. The fruit is all mixed together and the eggs have stuff in them." Exasperated, Thomas told the adults at the table, "Anything born female SHOULD COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS." Nora huffed, "I'm not a female, Daddy, I'm a girl."

Gee how I love women, "Happy Women's Day!"

    Hello there Kak Nuraina!

You might not remember me, im a freelancer for Mediate Communications, close friend of Nana, Cheeseng & Anthea.

I was wondering if you could do me a small favor. My friend Gael, Ex-Mediate staff, will be organizing a Fund Raising Event called “Malaysian Health & Happiness Festival 2009”. The purpose of this function is to raise fund to help underprivileged & abused woman.

You can get all the information’s at :
    www.healthandhappinessfestival.com
    www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=23809189995

The Festival is the first health and Wellness family festival of it's kind in Asia, combining exhibition, conferences and stage demonstrations. In promoting natural health and wellness, it also provide a platform for health professionals, practitioners and therapists to connect to each other and a wider public.

The will be loads of local & international speakers from a wide range of fields who will give a speech at the workshop. A part of the proceed from the products sold & the admission for the workshop will go straight to the fund.

Everything is going smoothly for us, we manage to secure a venue, find adequate sponsors and find plenty of exhibitors. What we are severely lacking is publicity. So I was wondering if you could find the space and time to promote this event in your blog? Its all for a good cause. Your blog is one of the most popular blog in the country, so there is a great potential to reach out to a lot of people who might be compelled to help our cause.

Of course, the final decision will be your own whether to publish it or not, but we will be forever grateful if you could lend us a hand, it is after all for a very good cause. And of course we will be greatly honored if you could make it to the event itself.

I could be contacted at "wewantpeace2003@yahoo.com"

    Your sincerely
    Aizat

  7. a good man does nothing,

thank you for you comment....but let me say that i am not one to generalise.

i know many men who can cook...and cook well too.
my late father used to prepare our Hari Raya dishes (when he was still well). my uncle used to prepare dishes for (big-scale) weddings.

and I can change tyres. Yes, I can. :-)

  8. Once, I used to think that men are naturally superior to women, that men should have the privilege to hold high positions in both the private and government sectors. Women are sentimental creatures that are susceptible to PMS and emotional crackdowns, which would impair their judgment and decision making.

    Now, as I hold my three year old daughter in my arms, I say;

TO HELL WITH ALL THOSE NONSENSE!

Equality for men and women! You work hard, you get the perks regardless of your sex.

Oops, didn't mean to cause a gender war there, Nuraina.

T'was just a tongue in cheek comment!

In fact I was a good cook when I was in campus..... hmm Maggi Mee was the speciality, till the egg was introduced... hahaha!

About the spare tyre thingy, surprisingly a lady did just that when I tried to assist once. It was a weird car as I went hunting for a jack.

She just pressed some buttons in the car and it raised without a jack. It was a Citreon and changing a wheel was a breeze.

Oh well, have a nice week ahead.

    A GOOD MAN DOES NOTHING.
