The palace has named the new Terengganu Menteri Besar --Ahmad Said -- but all 23 BN State assemblymen are protesting and have issued a warning that they are boycotting the swearing-in ceremony at Istana Tetamu scheduled this morning.
They have all declared their support for Idris Jusoh and want him to be re-appointed.
They assert that Idris who won the Jerteh seat, was the one who led Terengganu to victory and was the only one who could administer the state well.
The state assemblymen have also threatened to resign.
Ahmad Said is Kijal state assemblyman.
See the stories here, here and here.
Updates later to see whether Terengganu's trouble ends or deepens.
Now UMNO insults the Royalty. Is this derhaka? Then what will be the punishment for the assemblymen who boycott?
ReplyDeleteOr will they suddenly get `fake` medical certificates for cirit birit haha.
