Born: 1am, March 20, 2007.
Nina went to the hospital about 9am on March 19 and was induced by her doctor as she was about right to give birth to her baby, her third.
She delivered at about 1am. What a long labour. And I always thought labour in second or subsequent delivery would be quicker.
Nina's husband, Mack (Mazlen) was by her side throughout her labour.
Baby Sharmaine is gorgeous (excuse me, but aunts are like that!) -- full head of hair, thick arched eyebrow. Of course, of course, she takes after her Kakak Sara and Abang Heikal.
God Almighty! You took Kak Eda and gave us Sharmaine...
Dear Noraina
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Nina. Am happy for you and whole of Samad’s clan. Syukur Alhamdulillah.

rasanya masa dah suntuk.
Congratulations Nina for the baby girl and to you Kak Ena,
ReplyDeletewow! 16 long hours! i don't think i could stand the long pain. saya ada dalam bilik bersalin kurang lebih 1/2 jam sahaja ketika lahirkan kesemua 4 orang anak2. Alhamdulillah.
Allah is Great kan?
Kak Ena, Tahniah to you and Nina...meriahlah kehidupan Kak Ena nanti dikerumuni anak-anak buah ye...boleh bayangkan seronoknya...
ReplyDeleteKak Ena,
ReplyDeletePlease extend my congratulations to both Nina and Mack. Sharmaine will definitely be like her siblings. They are so cute. Sarah was only in her pre-school when I first knew her, but she has grown into a sweet and polite young lady the last time I met her.
Hope will be able to meet Sharmaine when I visit your "Bapak" - haven't done that for so many months...
Reading your TWB reminds me of the stories that he used to tell me while we were preparing for his column - BILA SAUH DI LABUH. Hmmm... I miss that column.
MARIANI

Semoga Sharmaine Hana akan menjadi insan yang beriman, sabar, tabah dan kental semangat juangnya.
Seorang lagi srikandi Samad clan in the making I pray.
Ameen.
Congrats to you and family! To Izinni, your last phrase " Allah is Great kan?" is quite disturbing me... How can someone asks or questions the greatness of Allah. I would suggest you stare up the sky one fine night and get the answer to your question or doubt.... If not enough, go down to the ocean and see the life downunder...
ReplyDeletecongratulations to the happy parents, and the aunties and uncles and grandpa and everyone else.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the proud parents on the arrival of their new bundle of joy. Sharmaine is such a pretty name.

Assalamualaikum roy,
ReplyDeletethanks for the reminder. I have never doubted Allah's greatness. Nauzubillah. Tak pernah terlintas di benak fikiran dan di hati.
I used to explain things to my kids .. about Allah, about everything. That's part of mom's job. After explaining .. I'll ask them "So you see ... Allah is Great kan?" and they will said "Yes, Ibu. Allah is Great."
Thanks again.
